The Madrasa Early Childhood Program (MECP) is a non-denominational, locally registered organisation promoting early childhood development for marginalised children aged 0-8.
We believe and know it takes a village to raise a child. That’s why we don’t do this work alone. From our inception, we have worked with marginalised communities. We have grown that collaboration with civil society organisations and government, private and development partners to secure a bright future for children.
A society where all children are healthy, educated, and happy.
To promote quality, community-based, culturally relevant, and pluralistic ECD with underprivileged communities.
We believe in treating every child, caregiver, and community member with dignity, recognizing their inherent worth and unique contributions. We foster an environment where everyone’s perspectives, cultures, and backgrounds are valued and respected.
We approach our work with a deep sense of empathy and understanding, recognizing and responding to the diverse needs and challenges faced by children and families. We strive to provide support and care with kindness, sensitivity, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in their lives.
Today, as children around the world are growing up in a deadly pandemic, we are supporting frontline health workers and providing education and hygiene supplies to help families and communities protect themselves and stay healthy.
